Outreach and Impact

ACCEPTING & LOVING

All are Welcome

If you desire an accepting, loving community in which all are welcome and are concerned with giving beyond ourselves, look no further than Saint Patrick Catholic Church. We believe that we are called to serve—that we must go beyond our parish to the greater community in need. Therefore we have a strong involvement in “outreach ministry.”

Here are a few ways in which we serve:

  • Saint Patrick Catholic Church gives 10% of offerings to aid in social outreach.
  • We run national and international mission trips to serve impoverished communities.
  • We collect food and clothing for distribution to those in need.
  • Once a month, we partner with another church to give back to the community. Dedicated parishioners gather at Amos House to serve others and prepare meals.
  • Prior to the beginning of each school year, our parishioners contribute items to our “Tools for Schools” campaign. School supplies are then donated to our local elementary schools for students in need.
  • Every November, we assemble and donate approximately 60 Thanksgiving baskets (including the turkey) to the Cranston Community Action Program (CCAP).
  • During the Christmas season, we participate in a “Giving Tree” for the benefit of those in need.
