Sacrament
of Marriage
The Sacrament of
Marriage
In this church is
celebrated according to the Rites
of the Roman Catholic Church
The Sacrament of Marriage is that
sacrament where a husband and a wife are joined before God and their
assembled friends into a unity which closely resembles Christ's unity
with the church. It is a sacrament which is not taken lightly or
quickly entered into.

We have assisted many couples,
both parishioners and non-parishioners in their marriage difficulties.
We, as a National Catholic parish, offer the sacrament to those
entering marriage for the first time and also to those who have
suffered the death of a first marriage and have sought out another
person with whom they desired to be married.
We do not have laborious requirements and do expect couples
approaching for marriage to have had sufficient time to know and
understand each other, are free to enter into the sacrament apart from
divorce proceedings, and be of a mind to establish a Catholic family
following the ceremony of the marriage itself.

For those contemplating marriage, please consider that we are
available to assist you in your planning. For the divorced and
remarrying, we may perhaps be your only catholic option. We allow the
marriages to occur both at church and also at a location of your
choice. We allow for marriage of those who are not yet confirmed. We
allow for marriages between Catholics and non-Catholics.
We have prepared a separate comprehensive web site for your marriage
needs. Please click the button below and you will be
directed to the web site.
